Here's the boss at full hp, Arthur, the king of the act your hero traverses through, is possessed by the main demon who would be the boss of the game. Once you knock Arthur down to a third of his hp he is transformed into the boss monster by the main demon for being weak and failing to kill the hero.

Will post more development on the concept when I have it done up.

The design on his armor looks like he has an open mouth on his chest. o_o

The third one on the second row I like a lot for some reason.

I like him as well, I think it's because he looks far more evil but I didn't pick him because he looks like a generic bad guy and not like a royal figure :/

True. Though the design would be good for those enemies you encounter in hallways or before to meet the boss.

Yeah and you need tons of those, for now though I have to finish fleshing out this guy's concept which still has a lot for me to do, I have to do the transformation process, the walk cycles, attack cycles and colour samples. To top it all off I was contemplating making the guy in 3D but we'll see how sick of him I am after all the other stuff

Have fun! You better post all of this stuff so I can be awed by your skills.

XD Designing characters and stories for them is fun! if you're doing it for yourself most of the time. SOMETIMES if you're doing it for work then you want to throw the character themselves into a volcano.

I will, I'm going to be posting everything on this site, facebook and my own website so that hopefully I catch an eye or two of someone who can offer me a good job.

That's a good thing to do.

Just remember to keep applying to jobs. You'll get hired! At least see if you can find paid internships that will eventually lead you into getting hired as an artist. Some companies like people who they know will stay after that 3-4 month period.
